Continuing with our Mountian Madness, by popular request here is Episode 5. This one is in the same general area as the last. Banff/Canmore area. If I’m not mistaken, this is called the Three Sisters! Someone correct me if I’m wrong!
Thursdays Treasure – Mountain Madness Episode 4
The city of Banff sits at the base of this famous Mountain. The Cree name was Waskahigan Watchi or house mountain, and we call it Mt. Rundel! The Vermilion Lakes add to this image. It is known for the Rundel Scramble as people like to climb to it’s peak. Looks easy! I don’t think so!
Wednesdays Wonders
Episode 3 of Mountain Madnes. A cabin on the open range with a room with a view! Clear sky with the only cloud catching on the top of the mountain.
Mountain Madness
This is the first of a series of shots from my archive that I’ve never shown before. We have taken numerous trips into and through the mountains, over the years. I’d like to share some of them. I won’t necesarily know the name of the mountain, but if you live nearby you’ll know it!
Distant Highway
A shot from a couple of years ago. During our lives we have spent many hours crossing the Canadian plains. We are huge fans of the prairies. This shot is a stretch of road east of Calgary, Alberta. A big Stretch! Life play on across the endless skies and horizons.
