Today’s Sunset was full of pretty pastel colours. I do like sunsets!
The Sea Imp III hard at work with a log boom on the Fraser River between Langley and Maple Ridge. Owned by Catherwood Towing the Sea Imp III is 7.77 meters long with 402 horse power and a single screw.
Along the way in Langley is an active Dairy farm. Corn is grown here as cattle feed. At this time of year only the stubble remains.
Travelling around in the lower mainland of B.C. there are ample views of the Golden Ears Mountains in Maple Ridge, B.C. There are many opportunities for a photographer. I have taken a lot of shots of these mountains. This is another one, taken yesterday afternoon as the sun was setting.
In a part of the country that prides itself in being green year round, this view is a bit different for us! The past few years, we’ve had mild winters. This year, winter came with a vengance. It started raining on Wednesday and the piles have shrunk substancially.
