Just to prove that not all the wonderful mountains are in Alberta! Here’s a shot of a stretch of the Coast Mountains just south of Britannia on the Sunshine coast.

The city of Banff sits at the base of this famous Mountain. The Cree name was Waskahigan Watchi or house mountain, and we call it Mt. Rundel! The Vermilion Lakes add to this image. It is known for the Rundel Scramble as people like to climb to it’s peak. Looks easy! I don’t think so!
