I quite pleased about my hummers today!  We haven’t seen them for a week or so, but today both the male and female showed up!    Here is the female Anna’s Hummingbird (Calypte anna) She doesn’t go in for all that flashy bling that her mate has, but she is a perfect jewel none the less!

    She may be lacking the brilliant colors,but all that detail in those tiny feathers is amazing.
