Interesting treatment of the log-ends … a chainsaw job, I’ll wager. The notching and grooving-out of the logs looks machined … Is this a DIY prefab, ordered from a log-house company?
Nice use of the cabin to balance out the picture.

D, thanks! I don’t know any details about the cabin, only that it was at the end of this little lake and I thought it would look good in a shot!
